    Dr. Kaufman is triple board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology, Vascular Neurology and Neuromuscular Medicine. He has extensive training in all aspects of neurology, Stroke, Migraine, Peripheral Neuropathy, Myasthenia Gravis, Alzheimer’s Disease, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis and ALS. He has special interest in Neuroprevention and Geriatric Neurology.

     

    Dr. Kaufman graduated from Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences with a BA in Biological Sciences in 1994. He received his MD from Tulane University School of Medicine and Masters of Public Health from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in 1999. After medical school, Dr. Kaufman completed his internship and neurology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical Center, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Hospital for Special Surgery. In June 2004, he completed a fellowship in Neuromuscular Diseases and Electromyography at Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School.
